Maternal and Child HealthWhat is MayMay
We developed an android application created for mothers and (pregnant) women in Myanmar. It was established in 2014 partnered with multiple healthcare institutions. It provides users with professional, reliable information on the core pillars underlying maternal and child health such as nutrition and disease, with the overall goal of improving the long-term health outcomes of both mother and child. Myanmar’s most popular mHealth platform (App/ Messenger & Viber chatbots/ Facebook page) for pregnant women, mothers and their families, delivering professional health information with a focus on maternal and child health to families across Myanmar.
Because we're a fully-remote team — we hire people from all over the world!
And, it has included useful weekly health messages, covering antenatal care to breastfeed. Fun, interactive quizzes for better learning. Social chat to ask questions to PSI doctors. And Mommy who is on the golden journey. In this, we have digitized and nationally distributed key First 1,000 Days nutrition messages to all populations and strengthen health systems through increased access to nutrition information for health workers and digital referral mechanisms. Covid-19 information hub, modules for general population and e-learning modules for front line workers.
